Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company in designated territories. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. The position is responsible for the successful implementation of commercial marketing and sales programs.

Job Duties include

  • Manage dealer partnership opportunities for aggressive profitable growth.
  • Develop new dealer relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
  • Maintain existing business relationships at all levels within their organization.
  • Analyze channel and market and develop plans to increase dealer penetration.
  • Execution of new product launches
  • Differentiate Star EV products from competition utilizing product and non product factors.
  • Take an active role in coaching and training dealer personnel and evaluate competencies in the support of our products and services.
  • Think critically when planning to assure project success.
  • Participate in high-value dealer sales events.
  • Develop and update monthly forecast of top vehicle SKU's.
  • Coordinate internal departments and resources as necessary to resolve problems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Self-starter with ability to function independently without close management.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and work to effectively complete job responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP Business One and Zoom or Teams video conferencing.
  • Travel as needed (25% annually).

Role Description

Star EV Corporation is seeking an ambitious, motivated and energetic full-time Strategic Accounts Manager for the US market to create, develop, and maintain customer relationships while meeting sales targets. The successful candidate will also work to understand customer needs, provide solutions, and increase brand awareness. The position is based in Simpsonville, SC and requires on-site presence.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales growth and business development in strategic key accounts with potential for large quantity direct orders.
  • Manage our key accounts portfolio.
  • Establish strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Implements approved strategies and tactics to grow overall sales revenue and market share.
  • Become a product expert and provide the necessary level of technical expertise to channels and end-market customers.
  • Effective prevention and resolution of conflict across sales channels.
  • Handle complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Coordinate internal departments and resources to resolve problems involving quality, delivery, pricing, product specifications, reporting and warranties.
  • Professional execution of unexpected supply chain conditions to best meet the company's needs.
  • Accountable for the successful implementation of marketing and sales programs.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts.
  • Actively research, conduct and participate in formal and informal training opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a technical related field
  • 5+ years of proven work experience in sales, account management, or customer service, preferably in the automotive, transportation, or consumer goods industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work towards strategic goals
  • Proven ability to maintain and develop customer relationships, meet sales targets, and manage sales pipelines
  • Ability to analyze sales and market trends, develop sales strategies, and prepare and deliver sales reports and presentations
  • Willingness and ability to travel (25%; seasonally up to 40% per month) to trade shows, customer sites, and sales meetings.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Advanced understanding of MS Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRS) software, SAP Business One.
  • Self-starter

Put products in the places they need to be. This is an essential role in our warehouse and production facility. Material handlers find products on shelves, wrap or package them appropriately and place them on delivery trucks. They will also remove products off incoming trucks and put them where they go.
